All of the recipes below require roasted beets. Roasting beets are exactly like roasting anything else, omitting the oil.

How To Roast Beets

Beets
Aluminum foil


Heat oven to 375 degrees
Thoroughly rinse beets, keep skin on
Wrap beets tight in aluminum foil

Bake until tender and pierce-able with a knife around 1 to 1-1/2 hours

Remove from oven and let cool
When they are cool enough to handle skin should easily come off


Probiotic Smoothie

1 banana
6 strawberries
2 tbsp raw honey or agave nectar
1 cup non fat Greek yogurt
1 cup roasted beets
*No liquids needed
Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth

This smoothie good for digestive health, urinary healthy, digestive tract, and stimulates the immune system

Beet It Smoothie
2 small roasted beets
1 cup fresh pineapple
1 navel orange

*No liquids needed
Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth

This smoothie is heart healthy, chalked full of vitamins, and can brighten your complexion 

Beet Treat Juice
1 cup beets
1 cup carrots
1/2 cup apples
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp agave nectar
*No liquids needed
Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth

This smoothie can lower blood pressure, decrease your risk of heart disease, full of antioxidants 

All of these smoothies are worth making a few times a week.
