So So So sorry about the missed post yesterday. I had a business meeting at 7:30am and stayed busy until 6pm, but yesterday was a great day.

I realized that I am truly on the right track with my goals and business ideas. I ran into an old co-worker of mine a few days ago and she expressed how much she appreciated my friendship and advice. She said my words are powerful and they have stuck with her through the years. I was honored to hear that. It made me feel great to know that I wasn’t wasting my time, trying to help my co-worker, because to me it seemed like she wasn’t listening.

My life-coaching client has impressed the hell out of me. She is getting out, dating, meeting new people, and all this, while loosing weight. I can’t believe the progress that she has made. I’ve been dedicated to her since the beginning of the year and wow has she blossomed.

Life coaching can be intimidating. Sometimes you look in people’s eyes and see sadness and you know it's your responsibility to help them. I felt overwhelmed on more then one occasion. But I stuck with it, push her through the tough times and I’m proud of the results. We still have a lot of work to do, but WoW! What an improvement.

I also decided to attend a more legitimate Life Coaching School. Since to truly want to make Life Coaching my career, I don’t want to fly by night certification. I need a certification that is national recognized. The class I was going to attend next week was a 2 day 16 hour program that fast tracks the information so you can obtain you certification and start coaching asap. As great as that sounds the program has no real roots in the life-coaching world. It is not international recognized, and I would like more hands on training dealing with peoples lives than an 16 hours course.

I have been doing a lot of research about life coaches in the Bay Area and found that most of the successful coaches attended San Rafael Coaching Training Institute. http://www.thecoaches.com/ It’s a 9 month to 1 year program. You have 4 on site classes, and 100 hours of coaching training that you have to complete to obtain your certification. I am also allowed to Coach people at a discounted price while going through the program. I feel confident in this school. Not to mention their graduates are some of the top life coaches in San Francisco, some charge outrageous prices, and others have waiting list subject to personal referral only.

This is the level that I am trying to get on. As much as I want to jump start my practice right now I know that the proper education is important.

The plan is to start my marketing campaign to obtain Personal Training Clients. I have a few ideas that I have shared with you all.

  • Creating shirts with my “fat” pictures on them, that say “this used to be me, ask me how I did it."

  •  Working out at Sausalito parks and the Marina Green in San    Francisco

  •  Offering the first Personal Training session free

  •  Attending different local health fairs

  •  Free Bootcamps 2 times a month starting in July

  •  Staying on top of Social Media Sites, twitter, facebook, pinterst, Linkin, Google+
  • Keeping my blog interesting, fun, and compelling by exposing my true self.
  •  Networking Networking Networking

  •  Continue video bogging on weekly bases.

That’s my plan. I usually don’t like to share my thoughts and plans with people because that really locks you into following through with everything; but that’s what I need to do. It’s time to pay or play with me. If I don’t have a steady income by the end of the year, it is only my fault and I will start searching for a 9 to 5. I know I will be successful; I just have to put myself out there, pound that pavement, and stay positive.

That’s what’s up with me today. I’m feeling inspired, blessed, and a little impatient.

I have a meeting with a friend of mine, she is studying to become a nutritionist. We try to meet once a week to talk about our goals, and what we are actively doing to reach them. Last time we met I inspired her to start a blog. http://greenglowlove.blogspot.com Her blog is now going strong, she posts Positive Affirmations everyday, and also participates in different cleanses, and healthy meal planing. I can’t wait to see her and tell her my plans and hopefully getting some good feed back.

Sometimes when other believe in you its scary. Everyone seems to believe in me, everyone seems to believe that I will be successful and make a difference in the world. I believe it to, and I’m anxious to start. I’m anxious to make my mark.

I have also been reading a lot about book proposals, Query letters, and Grammar. I feel like I have a lot on my plate, but since I love to over-eat I’m right where I need to be.

Do you have any goals that you want to share with the world??

Since I have been missing in action I have some wonderful food pictures I want to share with you.

I love to eat, and I also love looking at food, I hope you do too.
