Quick & Cheap DIY Valentine Cards

Hi Friends

Guess who was battling ant invasions last night and this morning? Me!

I was starving in the middle of the night, so I got up to eat some fruit and down a KeVitaFyi KeVita are the perfect blend of sweet and healthy when I need something in the middle of the night. Standing in the refrigerator downing my probiotic drink I felt something crawling on my leg. I swatted it away, turned on a light to find my kitchen floor was moving. It was disgusting ants were all over the floor, running about, it was like a little city. I got out my toxic ant spray (I have to find a natural ant spray asap!) and sprayed until I was light headed, then swiffer(ed) up the ants and all those unnecessary  bug killing chemicals. It took about an hour to make it back to my bedroom where I decided I should shower to ensure I didn't bring any ants into the bed. I finally got back to sleep around 4am, waking up at 7:30 thrilled to start the day tackling the crafts I'm featuring below. I went downstairs, checked the kitchen, which was ant free just as I had left it, put in a kettle to make my daily oatmeal and proceeded to the laundry room to pack my gym bag when I let out a loud yelp! There were ants all over, inside, around, on-top and underneath my gym bag. This again?? Really?? I spent the next hour spraying and cleaning spraying and cleaning. I was so annoyed these ants threw my entire schedule off, I didn't get to the gym until 9:30 ugh. The boyfriend called full of silly jokes which I needed, then I took my anger and frustration out on the stair master and spin bike.

This is my second week of training for Tough Mudder and I can already see a difference in my body and my cardio endurance. I feel like a serious bad-ass and its only week 2. Our pest control company is coming to treat our home for ants tomorrow, hopefully I won't have to battle anymore moving trails until then.

Valentines day is Saturday, all week I will be posting cute crafts for everyone to enjoy. Todays crafts are cheap and easy children valentines Day alternatives. Just because I don't have kids doesn't mean you don't. I purchased the all materials from the 99 cent store and am including free pdf templets. Instead of spending your money on generic cards turn off the tv and get your kids crafting. Crafting stimulates the mind, provides a sense of accomplishment, and is a great way to bond with family and friends.

Enjoy!
